Westover Inn may be Ontario's quintessential country inn, a steeply gabled stone mansion with elaborate gingerbread trim majestically set in park-like grounds of century-old trees. Westover Inn's appeal in the small meetings market is based on a combination of relaxed small-town atmosphere, attention paid to well-planned activities, and a convenient location midway between Toronto and Detroit/Windsor. Meeting guests appreciate that there is only one function hosted at Westover at a time, which gives each group full use of facilities and the undivided attention of all staff.
This fine limestone mansion was built in 1867 as the home of local wheat magnates William and Joseph Hutton, was converted to a Roman Catholic seminary in the 1930s, and was renovated to welcome guests in 1987. The inn comprises the original Manor, with meeting room, lounge, dining room and six guest rooms; and the Terrace and Thames Cottage, each with guest rooms and suites.
Westover Inn is best suited for small meeting groups. A large meeting room accommodates up to 40 people, theatre style. Meeting groups appreciate the abundant natural light (two walls of the meeting rooms are large windows) and the view of the gardens and small chapel on the grounds. The meeting room has a private outdoor deck that allows direct access to 19 acres of quiet space.

During summer, the Stratford Festival is an immensely popular group outing, while during winter, cross country skiing at Wildwood Conservation Area and inner tubing at River Valley are popular.
