About The Inn

Built in 1928 by Fred Cairns, Cairns Creameries was one of the largest dairies and ice cream producers in the region. In 1930 Cairns Creameries was purchased by Bordens Dairy. Over the next 44 years, Bordens Dairy became a landmark in Niagara Falls with its freshly bottled milk, rich ice cream, and giant concrete milk bottle. It was the last dairy in the area where the traditional milk man could be seen on horse and carriage delivering glass bottles of milk door to door. Bordens Dairy operated until 1974. In 2007 the “old dairy building” was transformed into the Sterling Inn & Spa.

As Niagara Falls' only Boutique Hotel, the Sterling Inn & Spa is a fusion between a luxury hotel and a fine inn. From the tranquility of ONE, the full service spa to AG, this fine dining restaurant offering regional cuisine in a cool urban setting, the Sterling Inn & Spa is truly an experience in itself. With amenities and rooms that cater to couples, the Sterling Inn & Spa is the perfect place for a honeymoon or romantic getaway.

All guests of the Sterling Inn & Spa enjoy complimentary breakfast in bed, parking and high speed internet. The Sterling Inn & Spa is located just minutes from Clifton Hill, Casino Niagara and the Falls.
