The Inn at Manitou is nestled on the shores of one of Ontario's most beautiful unspoiled lakes, Manitouwabing Lake, 150 miles north of Toronto. Our small luxury resort of only 35 rooms is surrounded by forests and rocky shoreline. We are a member of the distinguished Paris based Relais & Châteaux Association. The rooms at the Inn are handsomely appointed and range in size and opulence from standard to large and grandly furnished luxury suites. Most rooms are located along a granite height that borders the sparkling lake below. Some rooms are conveniently located overlooking the tennis courts.
Standard Rooms are small, no-frills accommodations. They are king-sized "hotel" rooms ideal for single guests or for the budget-minded. Deluxe Rooms have cathedral ceilings, cozy sitting areas with wood-burning fireplaces, private sun decks, lake views and separate dressing rooms. Luxury Junior Suites have cathedral ceilings, step-down living rooms, antique marble mantles and log-burning fireplaces. Each also has a spacious dressing room, a cedar sauna and whirlpool bath, mini-bar, CD player and a private sun deck.
We also have a three-bedroom country house with a stunning lakeside location, private boat dock, sundeck and fully-equipped kitchen. Can sleep eight comfortably, and is ideal for a group of friends or a family.
 
Our kitchen of twelve French chefs is rated by Relais & Châteaux as one of the finest in Canada. Gourmet menus are featured at dinner on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday; intervening dinners are bistro style. Spa menus, low in calories, fats and sodium, are delicious, nutritious and beautiful to behold and are available for guests' choice at all times. Wine tasting presented in the Inn's wine cellar of 5,000 bottles, twice weekly by our Sommelier.
