Overlooking a spectacular vista across Sturgeon lake, in a
setting of pine and stone, Eganridge includes historic Dunsford
House. Built in 1837, Dunsford is one of North America's finest
preserved examples of hand-hewn log home architecture. Challenging
golf, award-winning continental cuisine and luxurious accommodations
fulfill guests' highest expectations. We are located in the heart of
the Kawartha Lakes, a vacation land renowned for fishing, sailing,
boating, and scenic beauty.

Accommodation is in beautiful Dunsford House, the spectacular Terrace
Rooms or in lakeside
cottages. Dunsford House has six very spacious and luxurious rooms
with period reproduction furnishings, and one king-size or two
queen-size beds, televisions, and large bathrooms with whirlpool
tubs. Some of the rooms have fireplaces. Dunsford House has meeting
rooms and quiet nooks for relaxing, all bathed in sunlight from the
skylights. The deck overlooking the lakefront is very peaceful—the
perfect place for a quiet morning coffee or a nightcap.
The
Terrace Rooms, built in 2002, are attached to the main clubhouse.
They all have a terrace overlooking Sturgeon Lake, a king-size bed,
gas fireplace and a large bathroom with a whirlpool tub.
The luxury lakeside cottages have period furnishings, fabrics and
designs to complement the historic Dunsford House. Two cottages have
two bedrooms and two bathrooms and three cottages have one bedroom
and one bathroom. All cottages have whirlpool baths, separate living
rooms, wood burning fireplaces and decks with views over the lake.

The completely restored restaurant and dining room is housed in the
original post and beam estate barn, which is situated a short walk
from Dunsford House. The broad second storey of the building is a
screened in porch for comfortable outdoor dining, and the dining
room's situation on a hill provides a sweeping view of the lake.
The dinner menu features traditional European and lighter,
California-influenced dishes created by Swiss-born Steve Moghini. A
house specialty is our rack of lamb. Our country continental breakfast
features fresh fruit, fresh baked goods and our Chef's daily hot
breakfast creation. The wine list has domestic and
international offerings, and our wine prices are very reasonable.
