The guest rooms are filled with remnants of Ontario's past, from a polished sleigh bed of bird's eye maple to weathered rocking chairs. Plump duvets cover pine beds so high you need a stool to clamber in; underfoot are original pine plank floors. (Toronto Life Magazine)

Guests can choose from rooms at the main inn, or at the "Guest Cottage," which is located just across the street. Inn rooms are furnished to period, and have views over the gardens or along the quaint streets of the village. Several have private verandahs. The Widow's Walk has a secluded retreat in the rooftop cupola—the best place to watch the skies over Lake Huron. At the Guest Cottage, our 1987 expansion, all rooms have ensuite whirlpool baths and private verandahs and some rooms have fireplaces.
