The Breadalbane Inn awaits your arrival. One of
the finest examples of Scottish architecture in the region, The
Breadalbane Inn was constructed in 1860 as a home for town
founder George Fergusson. High ceilings, imported marble
fireplaces and a magnificent walnut stairway create an
atmosphere of a refined English country estate. The original
estate gardens are remembered in the lush perennial gardens that
surround our outdoor eating areas and solarium. The Breadalbane
offers fine dining, accommodations, and private dining and
a cozy meeting room. We invite you to explore our region of pastoral
scenery, historic limestone villages and excellent shopping.

The
Breadalbane Inn is proud to offer guests two choices in
excellent dining: the Maple Shade dining room and the Fergusson
Scottish Pub.The Fergusson home was remarkable for its numerous
fireplaces, and one of the original hearths lends its Victorian
elegance to our formal dining room. Our award-winning chefs
prepare our menu fresh each day, and we offer traditional
cuisine with a modern flair. Enjoy our breads, which we bake
daily, and sample our own private stock of exceptional house
wines. Our wine list is truly international, with wines from
Europe, Canada, United States, Chile, Australia and South
Africa.
The Fergusson Room Pub, decorated in British style, offers lunch as well as
single-malt Scotch and a wide variety of beers from around the
world. Our pub menu is perfect for casual dining at lunch and
dinner.

is located in the heart of Fergus, a delightful village of
limestone storefronts and a superb farmers' market. Nearby Elora
is also a shopper's delight. A sample of local wares includes
the following: luscious handmade chocolates, Scottish baking,
cosy flannel nightware, pottery and weaving, collector dolls,
and art from near and far. Our region has many delightful
villages and antique hunting is a common pastime. We can suggest
bike and drive routes through our region.
We are located a stone's throw from the Grand River, a
national heritage waterway known for some of the best
fly-fishing and white water in the area. Cycling, hiking and
